H. E. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar on his two-day visit to Qatar to attend the 30th Anniversary of the International Year of The Family Conference on Family and Contemporary Megatrends, meets Yousef Bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, the CEO of Qatar Charity to discuss bilateral corporation between the two countries. 
H.E. President of Zanzibar Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi hailed the incredible milestones of Qatar Charity (QC) in the humanitarian and development fields worldwide, adding that he is proud of the projects QC is carrying out in Tanzania.

His Excellency was speaking during his visit to the QC's headquarters in Doha and welcomed by QC CEO Yousef Ahmed Al Kuwari.

The visit discussed QC-led efforts worldwide and the most consequential achievements in this field, along with the projects QC has been implementing in Tanzania since establishing its office there five years ago.

HE Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi expressed his delight at this visit and conveyed his deep gratitude for the outstanding achievements of QC in the humanitarian and development fields worldwide. He noted that what he observed during the visit was stunning and excellent work.

His Excellency seized the opportunity to express his gratitude to the influential and development projects QC is implementing in Dar es Salaam, affirming that he looks forward to opening wider prospects for cooperation with the curators of these projects in a variety of humanitarian and development fields.

For his part, QC CEO Yousef Ahmed Al Kuwari emphasized that QC's humanitarian and development interventions worldwide, and in Tanzania in particular, underscore its commitment to achieving sustainable development in targeted areas and creating a positive impact on the lives of beneficiaries.

Notably, QC has over 33 offices worldwide, including its office in Tanzania, which was opened in 2019. Through this office, development projects in water, health, and education have been implemented at a total cost of $13 million.
