INSPECTION OF PRODUCTS THROUGH THE RE- EXPORT VERIFICATION OF CONFORMITY( PVoC) SYSTEM
The Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania wishes to inform the public that, the Zanzibar Bureau of Standards (ZBS) has entered into an agreement with Bay Area Compliance Laboratories Corporation, a Chinese company, to conduct quality inspections of products prior to their export or import into the country under the Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) system.
This agreement will remain in effect for three (3) years, from September 2025 to August 2028.
All citizens and traders are therefore advised to comply with the guidelines and requirements issued by the Zanzibar Bureau of Standards (ZBS).
