Tanzania participated in the third edition of Qatar Travel Mart (Qatar International Exhibition for Travel and Tourism) from November 25th to 27th at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
The three-day event, being held under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, brings together a diverse range of industry leaders, including hoteliers, tour operators, travel agents, and technology providers, to explore new opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
Being held under the theme, “Discover Places, People and Cultures,” this year’s event was most influential edition to date, further solidifying Qatar’s status as a premier global tourism hub.
The event was attended by international associations, senior-level executives, and decision-makers from the tourism sector. Tanzania participated fully in the Qatar International Exhibition for Travel and Tourism with participants from the Government sectors as well private sectors. The participants advertised the sheer diversity and abundant wildlife and vast and varied landscapes, from the classic savannah destinations of the Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater to the stunning beaches and coral reefs of Zanzibar, a Tanzanian safari offers travelers an endless variety of destinations to explore, safari adventures to experience, and wildlife species to see, as well as the rich culture and hospitality of Tanzania people. The Qatari people were impressed by the beautiful natural resources of Tanzania and the attractive tourist places that Tanzania is blessed with and they are very keen and eager to visit Tanzania.
