The Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Doha today showcased the country’s rich tourism attractions and vibrant cultural heritage during an outreach session at Park House English School.
Led by the Political and Cultural Attaché, Embassy officials engaged Year 5 pupils studying Africa, providing an interactive learning experience on Tanzania’s diversity, traditions, and way of life. Students explored key aspects of Tanzanian culture, including the Kiswahili language, traditional attire, music, and cuisine.
A visual presentation highlighted Tanzania’s renowned destination, including Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the beaches of Zanzibar, alongside historic sites such as Kilwa Kisiwani.
The session featured lively interaction, with pupils participating in a question-and-answer segment, trying on traditional Maasai attire, performing dances, and sampling Tanzanian delicacies, including Maandazi, as well as coffee and tea.
The initiative generated strong enthusiasm among pupils, who pledged to share their knowledge of Tanzania with their families and peers.
The Embassy remains committed to promoting Tanzania as a premier global tourism destination through cultural diplomacy and continued engagement with educational institutions.
