Today,12th of February 2025, His Excellency Habibu Awesi Mohamed, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania in the State of Qatar had the honor of attending the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dream and Guide Hospitality Company of the State of Qatar and WRIS Agro Company Limited, a well-known meat supplier from Tanzania. This important agreement focuses on the supply of chilled and frozen meats of goats, cows and lamb,as well as offals products of the same.
The MoU was an immediate result of WRIS Agro Company's participation in the 12th International Agriculture Exhibition 2025 (AGRITEQ 2025), which was held in Doha, Qatar, from February 4th– 8th , 2025. WRIS Company used the exhibition as an opportunity to promote its premium meat products and establish useful business relationships in the Middle East. The partnership with Dream and Guide Hospitality Company is a promising development, reflecting the growing demand for premium chilled and frozen meats in Qatar.
Ambassador Awesi expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, noting that it highlights the importance of trade exhibitions in fostering international business relations. “This MoU is a testament to the fruitful outcome of WRIS Agro Company’s participation in the Qatar Agriculture Exhibition 2025 and the continued strengthening of ties between Tanzania and Qatar,” he remarked.
This new agreement is set to open doors for further collaboration, benefiting both countries' agricultural and trade sectors, and ensuring a steady supply of high-quality meats to the Qatari market.
