Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC) 2026

The Embassy is pleased to inform you of the forthcoming Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC) 2026, scheduled to take place from 19th to 21st November 2026 at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC), Dar es Salaam.
Held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, who will officiate at the opening, the Conference will be held under the theme “Value-Added Minerals: The Engine of Industrialization and Economic Growth.” The Conference will showcase Tanzania’s mineral potential and investment opportunities in mineral beneficiation, value addition and downstream industries, while promoting investment, technology, strategic partnerships and sustainable mining.
TMIC 2026 will bring together Heads of State and Government, Ministers, global investors, sovereign wealth funds, development finance institutions and business leaders, providing a platform for investment promotion, business networking, investment facilitation and business-to-business engagements across the mining value chain.
The Embassy therefore cordially invites QCCI members and other Qatari stakeholders, including gem and mineral dealers, mining companies, investors, financial institutions and prospective partners, to participate in the Conference and explore opportunities in Tanzania’s mining and critical minerals sector, particularly in beneficiation and value addition.
