The Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania, in collaboration with a distinguished delegation representing both public and private stakeholders from the construction and manufacturing sectors, proudly participated in the ongoing Project Qatar 2025 exhibition, held from 26th to 29th May 2025 at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Centre (DECC), Doha, Qatar.
The 2025 theme, “Experiencing the Synergy of Construction and Manufacturing Innovation,” united industry professionals, decision-makers, and innovators to explore a future shaped by cutting-edge technology and sustainable development.

Highlights of Project Qatar 2025:
Project Qatar 2025 featured two flagship concurrent activities spotlighting regional advancements in construction and manufacturing:
1. Qatar Smart Manufacturing Exhibition
A platform showcasing groundbreaking technological innovations in smart manufacturing, focusing on automation, digitalization, and intelligent systems transforming manufacturing industries globally.
2. Project Qatar Conference
A series of engaging sessions led by global thought leaders and subject matter experts on topics including:
o Driving sustainable infrastructure
o Harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for innovation and efficiency in construction
o Shaping the future of smart manufacturing in Qatar
o Transforming retail logistics
The event was officially inaugurated on 26th May 2025, with the keynote address delivered by H.E. Saleh bin Majid Al-Khulaifi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial & Business Development, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The exhibition attracted participants from around the world, representing diverse sectors including construction, manufacturing, engineering, consultancy, quantity surveying, architecture, and business development.
Tanzania’s Engagement and Outcomes:
The Tanzania pavilion attracted numerous visits from senior dignitaries of the State of Qatar government as well as public and private stakeholders from across the globe. The delegation engaged in fruitful discussions, fostering extensive networks and promising business collaborations and partnerships.
From 26th to 29th May 2025, the delegation—comprising private contractors and consultants—actively participated in B2B engagements and structured appointments with representatives from the Qatar Public Works Authority, Qatar Electricity and Water Corporation, regulatory bodies for contractors, architects and quantity surveyors, as well as the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This participation marks a significant milestone in strengthening Tanzania’s presence in regional and global construction and manufacturing markets, reinforcing the country’s commitment to innovation and sustainable development.
